After reading the comments, I still don't get it. Being split doesn't prevent White from making any of the points he's threatening to make. And sure, it's "nice" to be split in anticipation of something that may or may not happen, but it's also nice to not give my opponent productive 5s to send a third man back and take a significant racing lead. All three of you are smarter than I am, and I don't doubt that XG has a handle on this position, but it just doesn't add up to me.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
