BG Study Group ( 7'ish to 9'ish)

I would be shocked if it begins or ends as a big group.

A nice size would be 6 or 8 actively attending with a base of 10-15 that rotate in and out based on their priorities and the time of the year. The logistics of web conferencing doesn't really allow for much more to hope to be productive or moderately interactive. I would also expect those priorities to change as the membership changes.

I don't intend to "develop" the group. At our kickoff the first order of business will be to have the group choose it's own priorities/topics/activities/membership. (I will be posting an agenda shortly).

I also don't intend to own/lead the group. I'll feed and care for it for the first while but I would think that it will take on it's own shape fairly quickly if it is successful.

I hope this succeeds because I think it could be fun and could help motivate the members but if it isn't or doesn't then it won't.
