More men back, anchor, better board - at least better quality - we can go bold here.

And, again, technically ambiguous nactation, but in practice not. If I had wanted to play b/23 13/9 I would have spelled it out that way. 42$ might have been more problematic. I'd guess that a slotter would want an anchor, but the 8/4 slot would be prettier on our side, and we're not really desperate for an anchor yet. Then, b/23 8/4 could probably be nactated 42W ("W=Wild" slots and splits, and b/23 at least leave the back checkers split), and this is also an argument for interpreting 42$ as b/21 6/4.
