Gosh, I don't remember this and it was my (erroneous) play!

If I enter on the 22- then 8/3 sure looks better than 13/8 (with Perry on the bar). If I enter on the 20-point I can make that point or hit loose in my board. I think that covers all the 'reasonable' candidates.

I tend to shy away from anchoring high in these types of positions. High anchor games ("holding games") usually are done to either race or hit a late shot. I'm way behind in the race and I already have Perry back. Thus I should concentrate on keeping him there rather than hoping to send him back later.

6/4* is certainly playing to the crowd. (I don't think anyone besides Stick was watching :(. Obviously it has a bunch of upside and a bunch of downside. Six blots.... I don't think the position is so desperate to try this. So that leaves 8/3, which I'm guessing is what I played OtB -- and if so it's wrong.
