White is Player 2
score: 0
pip: 197Unlimited Game
Jacoby Beaverpip: 134

Blue is Player 1XGID=ac--BBC-C--AdC---c-d----A-:1:-1:1:54:0:0:3:0:10 Blue to play 54 In my preceding post, I hinted that when White plays first, the following sequence will lead to Stick's original position.
xxx-DOUBLET-xxx-DOUBLET-xxx-NONDOUBLET-fan-54
Thus, I had Blue rolling doublets on the 2nd and 4th rolls, and a non-doublet on the 6th. My plan had been to come back today and say that the moves can be transposed. A sequence where Blue rolls doublets on the 2nd and 6th rolls also works.
Well, I was right about the second part. Unfortunately, I learned from Nack that I was wrong about first part. Thus, my first hint was incorrect.
The sequence you seek has Blue rolling doublets on the 2nd and 6th roll, and a non-doublet on the 4th. If you require that White fan on the 7th roll, then there are two different solutions that vary in a trivial way. If you allow White to roll a non-fanning number on the 7th roll, then there are two additional solutions.
