Yet another question on clocks and slow play

Using Bronstein clocks, as long as players play within the 12 sec/move limit, the match has no time limit. I played a 2-pt matcn in Michigan last year where the cube was turned early, both my opponent and myself played at a brisk pace, and the match still took about an hour as it ended up in a mutual backgame.
