Here are my answers...totally unscientific, just my guess:
Who can you answer for some simple questions:
1. Who will be the winner of this event: one of 300 unknown players or one of 100 international (masters and advanced)?
Answer: I would be on one of the 100 and I would give odds of about 2 to 1.
2. How many masters and advanced players will be in the first 10, 20, 30, 40 places?
Answer: I would say that the top 40 would have about 25 masters; top 30 would have 20; top 20 would have 15; top 10 would have 7.
3. Can the person who won 14 matches (three 11 points and eleven 9 points) be the player with PR more than 10?
Answer: No.
4. Who is more experienced nd who is more lucky: guy, who won 6 times 15 points macthes or another guy who won 14 times 9 points matches?
Answer: Not sure I understand the question
5. And, "last, but not least" - is somebody ready to buy a ticket for 1000$ against 100$, that in case famous 10 persons from Giants list take part in such event one of them will be for sure the winner?
Answer: If the top 10 Giants were there I would probably not be willing to give 10 to 1 odds that one of them will be the winner, but it depends a lot on the rest of the field...how many of the rest of the Giants are there. If the top 10 giants were there and there was no other top 32 Giant in the rest of the field, it would be a close call as to whether or not I would give 10 to 1 odds on one of them winning, but I would probably pay 7 to 1.
