More alarming than I thought...

Don't forget... Just because you can correlate two sets of data, doesn't mean that one set necessarily has an impact on the other. Whether we are having an impact or not, of course we are. Whether it matters or not is not, and never will be, entirely known.
Now that being said, Do I believe in global warming? Sure, data has shown that the earth has warmed over the past century or so. Do I believe it's as catastrophic as the envirovangelists say it is? No... not at all. Our planet has been through MASSIVE changes in climate before, and it will go through MASSIVE changes in climate again. Species will adapt, they'll evolve... it's what they do, and if they can't they will go extinct.
We are but a speck on the timeline of our planet, and an even smaller speck on the timeline of our univers. As the dinosaurs went extinct, so shall we. As stars burn out, and planets die, so shall ours. The sooner you accept this fact, the happier you will be... trust me... it's quite cosmic really.
Humans as a species are arrogant. We think everything is here for us, and we think we will be here forever. I've got news for us... neither is true. Whether the planet dies from "catastrophic climate change", from the sun going supernova, or from a meteor crashing into it makes no difference. The end result is still the same.
Me, I go by the words of Elbert Hubbard: "Don't take live too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive"
