I didn't say they weren't reasonable or ppl shouldn't get paid to organize the tourney. What makes me sick is Europe has all kinds of added money and there may actually be overall positive equity to attend a tournament there, in the US, there really isn't, unless you kill yourself in chous on the side. I think it'd simply be a nice reprieve to have a tourney where you weren't paying for this, that, and the other.
