I certainly wasn't questioning the credibility, I was more thinking about the formalization process, and certification being a requirement for teachers. I think thats the next logical step isn't it? A certification program whereby your teachers can clearly state that they are qualified in area's x,y,z etc, and perhaps even something the students can strive towards.

I suspect it would be very nice for the students to be able to say that they received an A classification (or B or whatever), in some aspect of the game - opening moves; late cubes; bearoff technique; mid-game; holding game; blitzing technique and so on. It applies a standard and a formalization to the teaching that you do.

So, not offended, not questioning credibility, more interested in how you formalize what is taught, by whom, and how, and how your students can claim authority. Its quite different for someone to say "I'm great at bearoff's", than say "I achieved my A class certification for bearoffs" - which describes a quantifiable perspective, rather than an unquantified opinion.
