We can now anchor, and trailing in the race, we don't need to set up for maximum running structure, although we may be doing that in the process. 23-point is easier to escape and less likely to result in a gammon (that concern here, holding an anchor and with opp's behind our block, is not significant).

After 23(2) we could tiptoe with 6/5 but that looks like a bad idea. Creating a builder in the outfield is pretty safe and as always, spares on the 6-point are generally better than any lower point.
