i have played a similar position out thousands of times. I didn't keep any records. We can all be quite certain that my checker play decisions were far from optimal. I called it the 'fox hunt'. Blue are the hounds, and white are the foxes. I played it with one white checker and also with 2 white checkers. I did not use a doubling cube, so my estimations are based on cubeless play.

My estimation is that blue has about 45% to 50% winning chances IF blue can get a closeout with 2 checkers on the bar. White's best chances come from pointing on the leading edge of the prime, and trying to avoid the closeout.
