One of the more annoying behaviors in backgammon is when someone within a roll or two of game's end ponders the position, counting the sequences to determine if the game is gin or not. As though this is some sort of fascinating position or a display of penetrating backgammon acuity.

Easiest way to speed things along if you've virtually ginned the bear off is to just play 21 without rolling and let your opponent keep rolling till he's satisfied.
