I well remember playing a match in a small weekly club tournament. At DMP my opponent conceded the match. For some reason, I didn't feel good about this. The odds of her winning were indeed very small, certainly at least hundreds to one against, if not thousands. I discouraged her from doing this however, and she played on.

Of course, a dramatic comeback ensued and, before long, I was starting to regret my generosity. She, in particular was surprised - and probably slightly embarrassed - when the match came down to a final roll: she simply needed any double to win! She didn't get it but, I suspect, may have learned a valuable lesson.
