Can using the auto bearoff setting ever be cheating?

I just went through my session to confirm...many positions are not trivial and there is no way that your average donkey would get 99% of plays correct.

The catch here (and the part I didn't realize in my initial post) is that in most all of these positions, all the top plays are so close that even when you play an 'incorrect' play, you are giving up only a tiny fraction of equity. Based on that, I feel comfortable for both me and my opponent to use the setting to save time.

Still, it's kind of a slippery slope...not sure my thoughts on auto-play in straight races in human vs human play on the servers...seems there is much more equity at stake than in the no contact bearoffs.
