Perhaps the title of this post should be "Larsen-Silliman ranking of players in the U.S.", since although only American Backgammon Tour main event (i.e. Open/Championship or Advanced/Intermediate or Novice/Beginner/Limited) results are used as input to the rankings, no U.S. citizen has ever held first place since the rankings were first published in April 2014. First place has been held by either Mochy or Akiko.

P.S. Perhaps somebody reading this who likes to give odds could get some action from taking bets on who the first U.S. citizen to hold #1 will be. I don't expect the Michigan results (the only completed tournament not included in the current rankings) to change #1 as my unofficial projection is that Ed O' will jump from #15 to about #7.
