Cube ownership or Cube leverage value is inversely proportional to volatility in broad terms. Cubeful equities decrease with increasing volatility. The cubeful cube centred-equity is closely dependent on the cubeful equities of both players (on the theoretical assumption that they own 1-cubes).

The phenomena are more easily investigated when unlimited games are considered (and no jacoby and no beavers) considering a position where the cube is owned by the prospective doubler.
