Thanks! You're welcome! But I can't take any credit for these matches as I'm just collecting them and hosting them on Backgammon Studio. A big thanks to the effort made by those who transcribed these matches!

While you can download these matches to your PC there are a couple of fun things you can do with them on Backgammon Studio which you can't do with a local copy. For instance you could try to play like a world champion!

Go to the matches/match list section and click on a match:

Click on the "Play as Jörgen Granstedt" and off you go! You will get the same positions ad the original player and you can see how well you do as the game progresses:

Here you see I chose a little bit better opening reply as Jörgen (Playing opening replies challenge on Backgammon Studio helps! :-) ) and played a little bit worse move in the next.

I think this is one of the oldest features I added to Backgammon Studio. You could also try the latest feature I have added. Playing consultation matches against other players:

Here you get immediate feedback on how well you and your opponent played and you can comment on the errors as you go along. This is surprisingly fun! :-)

There are a couple of bugs yet in this feature. Cube evaluation isn't displayed correctly and there are a couple of bugs left with the match that is emailed to you after the match. For instance gnu BG likes to write 23/18*/16 but XG doesn't understand that and will require it to be written as 23/18* 18/16. Give me a couple of weeks and I think this will be pretty cool! :-)

Best regards, TP
