14/13(2) looks auto.

9/8(2) preclears, which isn't a bad idea in general, and more valuable of a tactic against the double anchor than the typical single anchor. This play also creates playable (i.e. non-breaking) sixes.

8/7(2) maintains two landing spots but creates a higher gap for the future.

Which position takes advantage of the cube more? DK...

I think the playable sixes win out over the extra landing spot (which is likely short-lived).
