Great stuff Phil!

I missed the 65 play with the 23 anchor, and am still not clear whether I understand the best play. I also missed the 31 after the missed cube. I would have cubed, but then also would have missed the best 'after-cube' play.

One thing I thought about with the 31 play is that often, when you are thinking about a cube but not sure, you need to consider if, after a non-cube, your play often will be affected by the likelihood of a cube next roll. Those play decisions are often difficult, so if a lot of your rolls will be affected by immediate cube considerations, you are better off turning the cube now.

Maybe I am not making much sense, but have a look at the 31 position where MCG asks why we are owning the cube, and then see whether it makes sense.
