Your emg is always between -1 and +1 -- a difference of 2. Your opponent cannot make any errors while on the bar against closed out. So, how can you lose 3.0 if you have (at most) 2.0 to play with?
Actually, there is no limit to the total amount of equity you can lose through errors in play. As long as you have dice that are lucky enough for you that they give back equity at a sufficient rate, you can make all the errors you want.
