Nice analysis! Your last variant shows the enduring value of an old BG-maxim: "Four in a row is more than you think."

There's nothing like already having that fourth point, either, as shown by your variants where Blue's back man is back on the 4 or 3 point. White's phantom 5 point, or even 5 and 4 points combined, hold Blue back from the edge and improve his equity, but it's so much better for White if he actually owns a solid four-block, even if his fourth point the less valuable 9 instead of the 5.
