Neil replies: This is a major issue here in the States as well, and in many semi-rural areas, our highways are only 2 lanes wide. I just love it when some truck in the right lane is going 63 mph and some dufus, as the road is starting to slope ever so slightly uphill, driving the truck behind, decides to pull out and pass at 64 to 65 mph, but due to a slight incline, can't get enough oomph to even start to pass for a minute or two as both trucks drop down to about 60 mph, backing up everyone in their cars etc who cruise along in the lower 70's mph. On 3 lane highways this is much less of an issue since you can usually get into the left lane and pass both trucks.
