In Response To: Bearoff Cube Formulas (Albert Steg)

This looked like a pass to me too. However, there is an expected eight rolls left to the game, and blues small numbers...especially threes...play better than reds...so much so that - at least according to gnu- blue should refrain from bearing a man off when rolling some threes. This tends to smooth out the difference in men born off.
