You generated lots of replies with your rant, Stick! Here in Norway it's actually not allowed to talk on the cellphone while driving, unless you're using handsfree. People actually get fined for it. Also, from the responses it seems that going above speed limit is the norm in the US, and that you get to play cat & mouse with the police to slow down in the right places. Myself, I simply follow the speed limit and don't keep a watch tower on the car. It gives better equity :-)
