One hand he even misread his suits and was going to muck a flush!

Sick part was he makes a river *bluff*, his opponent calls him ... and Gus wakes up before his cards hit the muck and finds the nut flush. (there was a boat about but as far as flushes are concerned he had the goods, and the way the hand played out it was the nuts)

People fold to his bets/raises because they don't want to get involved. They don't want to try to outplay him postflop. On the whole, if you want to tangle with him your best move would be the *all-in* to keep from making mistakes later in the hand.
