live tournament!!! each mistake i made in live tournament is in my memory for ever(the problem is that i keep inventing new mistakes each times:-)

if you are in tournaments or in a club don't be afraid to ask advice to the best players my experience tells me that such players like to share their knowledge of the game.

record your game it's amazing to notice how often is the same kind of mistake that comes back regularly. take time to understand them.

here in this forum each time i don't understand my mistakes i post them and always get interesting answers.

2 books that really helped me:backgammon boot camp W Trice and Modern Backgammon B Robertie every book is good but with those 2 i progressed to the next level. + a membership at gameonu.com my experience don't read a book in a week spend a week on 1 page if you feel it's necessary.

it has been said before: study as much match as possible.

and off course motivation welcome to this addictive game. Alex.
