I feel like when you say "Chinese people call it this" it is sort of prejudice? Table Tennis is British of origin so ... Yes, there are currently more Chinese people than any other in the top 20 (I think) but still... you didn't look at the top 5(?) mens tennis players when Federer and Wawrinka were there and draw any Swiss based conclusions. I just don't get the reason for saying "in China they call it".

My Mandarin is non existent so I don't know what the hell 名短语 or 乒乓球 actually means. From my brief googling what I used refers to Table Tennis or ping pong which makes sense because they're synonyms just as in English. That still doesn't mean I can't hate one and not the other.
