There is an article on the 2016 Merirt with a summary of the various brackets/winners in the current issue of the USBGF magazine (Winter 2017). I'm not sure it's okay to copy/paste that info here so I'll leave it to someone else to do that if it's okay, but some facts:

Master Flight: 230 entries Intermediate: 147 entries Doubles: 128 entries Merit Super Jackpot#1: 32 entries Merit Super Jackpot#2: 32 entries

That list doesn't give figures for the side jackpots, which I wish it did, because they are so much of the fun of the event, and so popular. The article mentions there were 250 jackpots, which sounds like a fair guestimate of these 8-player contests that go on throughout the weekend. They are offered at three price levels: 20e / 50e/ 100e and return 87.5% (The 'rake' is 1 of the 8 entries -- for example the 100e brings in 800e and pays out 700e to the winner). Match length is 5 for the 20e/50e jackpots and 7 for there 100e.
