That's bcuz speed limits are, in general too low for today's much improved cars. in spite of today's cell phone usage by gabbing twits who hopefully in generations to come will just get a chip inplanted.

The cops around here, on the highways know the limits are 5 or 10 mph too low and don't even look twice if you're going 67 in a 55 zone uness traffic is heavy and you're driving recklessly.
