GridGammon membership via USBGF or UKBGF?

From my own experience I know that you normally require an existing GG member to refer you. I've made a couple of attempts over the last 12 months or so but no joy so far. I'm not giving up yet however... Meanwhile there may be a fast track into GG via membership of either USBGF or UKBGF, possibly other organizations too? Any feedback will be appreciated
