In Response To: Professional Basketball (NBA) Rules Question (Dave)

a. After the ball is placed at the disposal of a free throw shooter, his attempt shall be within 10 seconds in such a way that the ball enters the basket or touches the ring before it is touched by a player.

Sounds to me like nobody can touch the ball until it hits backboard, rim, or net?
