There's nothing boring about this position as there's lots more going on than just containment since White is stripped and has two blots low in his board and will have difficulties playing many rolls and often for a few turns.

If White manages to escape his runner he still has to come around vs that nuisance blot on the 20 pt with no helping points in the outfield.

This is certainly a big double and perhaps (not sure) gammonish enough to make it a pass.
