Wow. I'd hesitate on the doubling part, not the receiving. I've been dinged so many times for too early doubles in such positions, that it's not even funny. White often expose something in the outfield, but his 2 points can work together, he might have a board advantage soon, our loose hits can turn into gammon losses...

I guess the 2 blots makes a big difference here (vs if he has, say, already a 4-point board with a blot or a dilly builder), which lets us pound on the rear guy mercilessly with any 3 or 5 (other than a building one, or even some of those).
