I've been playing with this position all day by moving some of the checkers off my ace pt and putting them in various other places (keeping my checkers the same and the two on the bar) with some 0-ply rollouts and 4-ply analysis. The more dangerous White's inner board becomes (with points or good threats) the better the 9/2 play becomes (eventually overtaking gnubg's otherwise favorite of 18/11).

When I get home tonight I'm going to roll out the original position and do some of the variations to illustrate all this.
