Hi Stick. Agreed - although I think imgur.com is reliable and will be long-lived

The reason I posted a png link that my version of GNUBG doesn't seem to have a File -> Export menu item like the (probably outdated) manual says it should.

I am using version GNU Backgammon 1.05.000-mingw 32-Bit 20150725 which I think is the latest from http://www.gnubg.org/

And when I do File -> Save -> Position -> HTML the result displays an ASCII text board instead of a graphical image in my local browser.

I tried copying and pasting the raw HTML from above then previewing the post in a new message on here but it gave the following error msg..

Invalid Graphic Format!

The graphic you upload must be in GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) format! Please use the "Back" button on your browser to return and try again. If you have any questions, please send a note to checkmugged@yahoo.com.

I am surely doing it wrong :(

A brief walkthrough explaining the process to export a graphical position to BGO using the latest version of gnubg would be really helpful.

P.S. If an image doesn't comfortably fit on most modern browsers display you can temporarily resize the page by using the keyboard combination CTRL -- aka minus, minus (or CTRL ++ to make it bigger). You probably know this tip already.
