1) Thanks Scotty - that's the kind of explanation I was looking for.

I guess quite a few newer players will not find it clear on how to practically 'use' a MET for cube decisions. They may not even know what a MET is! I have never found the process succinctly and explicitly explained anywhere else before.

2) It still doesn't explain why the Thorpe and Keith Count came to their RD/D conclusions. Well it does; you also have to consider as you said..

"the scores at take and win, take and lose, and the drop score and considers a few other factors such as volatility, the opportunity to recube.."

So today has been fruitful - thanks to you, I've learned it's not enough just to blindly rely on the pipcounts and these excellent racing tools. You also have to be able to estimate or calculate MWC. I think people must have a dang computer in their heads to play this game ;)

3) The Market Window function wording is still confusing to me though - maybe someone who knows this tool can explain?

"I have 88.9% winning chances.

GNU says that my Double Point is 61.4% to 87.4%

My Cash Point is 81.4% to 90.7%

I seems to me that 88.9% is practically touching the upper limit of my so called 'Cash Point', so logically it should be good and safe to double and *Cash* here, right? "

The Market Window function sounds like it should be really useful if it does what it says on the tin. I'm prolly misunderstanding the simple meaning of 'Cash Point' despite being in the 'green' Cash zone. I think it's unlikely that the Market Window function does not consider the score, recube vig and other cube factors etc. so I'm stumped.

P.S. I'd be happy to help relaunch School of Fish (free online group learning workshops) if any other intermediates are interested. Email me or Scotty if you're interested.
