Thanks. I've learned over the years that $ is relative. The Boston Red Sox (baseball) will give a player many millions for a single season of effort. Bill James, the pioneer of statistical analysis, received all of $40k for his first season's work for Boston only a couple years ago.

My partners met with the New Orleans Saints NFL team a couple years back. While meeting with the General Manager, the owner interrupted concerning his writing of daily meal reimbursement vouchers for the players (during training camp) of literally $10 per meal each. That is taken in the backdrop of an average season salary of nearly $2 million per player.

Make sense? I didn't think so.
