XG questions

For avg PR accuracy, I'd recommend 1-pass XGR++ setting with Large search interval (or even Normal). Best interval would be Gigantic, but the gain is minimal, and it's several times slower.
2-pass settings lower the PR (i.e. 2-pass 4-ply/XGR++ produces about 2% lower avg PR than 1-pass XGR++). If you can live with that, a 4-ply/XGR++ setting is quite close to 1-pass XGR++ in terms of accuracy and variance, but another several times faster (i.e. 4-ply/XGR++ Gigantic is about 7 times faster than 1-pass XGR++ Gigantic).
For best balance of speed and PR accuracy I'd recommend 1-pass XGR+ Large (or maybe even Normal) - it's about 25 times faster than 1-pass XGR++ Gigantic. Although I guess it's reasonable solution only for very slow machines or very big batch of matches to analyze without much of a spare time.
You can check my small test run for various arbitrary chosen XG settings at this forum here or download it as PDF here.
