I have no idea if I would have gotten any of these right otb, but I sensed a four position scenario, so I looked at the play that minimized/maximized gammons, maximized single point wins, and then for money fell back on "when in doubt make the five point, all the while assuming that there were four different answers.

To answer cmc's query (not that I have any business lecturing him on this game) I settled on the right DMP play by applying two maxims: "hit first and ask questions later" and "the race is more important than usual" So I looked for a hit, and 13/11 seemed a lot better than 6/4, then covering the bar point blot prevents white from gaining 18 pips by hitting there.

Not sure if this analysis is extendable, but that's how I arrived at my play.
