15/2.5 is about the most generous TC that get applied to singles play, and is too slow IMHO, but it would certainly have made watching this match more enjoyable for me. I'm not sure that 3h for a 19 point match is that slow really, and it can depend anyway upon how many moves there are, and how many tough plays. It's just that, when a player seems to be taking an inordinate amount of time on a certain play, at least with a clock you know they may have to play faster later. This is a key point I feel, and is really why I lost interest in the match.

But then I was watching for free, whereas they'd paid to play!
