I think is a too small challenge how to roll a snake but it can be some challenges regarding the doubling cube, a thing other games don't have. XG for example plays the same against a bot or against a weak player, a human can understand the difference. It would be interesting to see how can learn the doubling strategy just from playing, maybe could come out with some flexible MET. Demis Hassabis for sure knows how to play backgamon because he is multiple times PentaMind world champion.
