Marc B. Olsen named the Race a 'complex' concept, an assemblage out of 'pip-count' and 'race efficiency', which is the distribution of the checkers. I have also a leakage in making the right decisions, when the distribution is unusual. Stacks are silent killers. How to assess the stack on the five-point here? The 'right' decision depends upon getting the race equity right. We know, if we are able to calculate the takepoint, it will be 6.67%. Is there over a board a race formula to execute, which will measure the race equity exactly in this thin air? I am in doubt. I will stay at the ground control, leaving major Tom alone, in the orbit.
