I am sorry you feel disappointed Bill but I think there are some misunderstandings in your conclusion:

1.Backgammon Studio already offered an automated coordination for the doing saving and uploading of transcriptions. 2.There are people like me who do download them and review them when they are available. Imagine spending 2+ hours watching the video compared to the few minutes of downloading and analyzing a match. 3.Transcriptions like I said have their own priceless value. They remain in history for ever, just like the name of the one who did them.

Imo it's a matter of commercial policy and advertising for the organizers to pay for transcriptions of the most important matches. They spend so much money on videos, why not some more for transcriptions? They could upload them at their web page and attract future participants.

Think about proposing it to the next organizers. You could make some money and it would be for the benefit of everyone. Make an offer to USBGF for a start.
