Expressing Sympathy for Albert's Unnamed Opponent

In Response To: Stick's Rule Pays Off (Albert Steg)

No one else has mentioned this, so I will. Imagine how Albert's opponent must feel. He was leading 4-0 in a 7pt match, he doubled a non-gammonish position when he was supposed to, he was very unlucky to leave a shot, he was right in taking the redouble, and then Albert got lucky and hit the shot and won a gammon for the match.

I would like to express sympathy for Albert's opponent. Let's not be so cutthroat that we spend all our time analyzing the positions while spending no time at all thinking about the state of mind of Albert's opponent after such a loss.
