Oops..misstyped here..."it is often bad to leave a blot on a point where it doesn't do much good..ie in this case I don't want to cover the 22 pt and prefer to stay back on the 23 pt, and also bad to leave a blot where you hate it if it is pointed on."

Getting pointed on is bad here, but the well timed 2 pt game, isn't such a bad option when the opp allready has 3 checkers behind your anchor. However, noting that either play stepping out with said blot gives the opp some blotting rolls, I should have come out.
