Here is how the unhappy ending was reported (I just ran across it trying to find what he's doing in Event 22, and BTW couldn't find anything):

The Master Cooks Rice

Before the flop, Men "The Master" Nguyen and Jacob Rice got entangled in a raising war. The pot was capped, leaving Rice with just 600 chips in front of him. They went in as the dealer dealt the flop, and Nguyen called dark.

The board ran out 8H 2S KH 9S QS .

Men Nguyen shows AH JH 10C 5C .

Jacob Rice tables AD 2D 7D 9H , and cannot take either half of the pot, sending him out of here shortly before dinner.

From what I can see, Stick wuz robbed. First, that schnook got his missing card on the river for the high straight. And for low, to continue the food punning, Stick had a peachy hand till they flopped those low pears!
