First of all, Michi choice of play could lead to a match decisive G either way with the cube on 4. It was a hit now but leave 6 blots or wait for a hoped for shot later situation. I'd have used a lot of time here, basically to try to calculate how often he could hit later if he didn't hit now and just greatly improved his board. But back on topic I go.

I'd have no problem if all Masters events used Faster Master's TC's of 10 sec delay and 1 min/pt reserve since Masters is for the top high level of players.

But for the Open, I'd expect this to be quite fast (often too fast) for many players and especially those stepping up to Open.

More experience is needed with clock times. .. neilkaz ..
