What I like "more Swiss" format as well, lots more

Pretty simple math i get more play for my entry fee money. In Chicago 5 9pt match's or 1-4 is the worst you can do, so a total of 45 match points. if you go 0-4 then there's another bracket of 5 point match's(which i went 4-1 in last year). This year I went 2-4 and of the 6 match's 5 were DMP. So lots of BG for my entry fee and got to play 2 top players, Petko and Akiko. That's great value.

If was a top player i'd rather play less match's to get in the money, but that's not the case.

Another nice thing is you know when your next match is going to start.

The "other" format sucks and isn't good value, unless your a top player. That's my personal feeling comparing the 2 formats. I play in them tourneys because i enjoy going to them, but they re not as fun or as good of value.
