Full Baffle Box Rules

My comments:
Rule 1. I would like to see is something like this:
"Drop the dice together straight down into the box. Do not throw or push the dice into the box or impart any extra force on the dice as you release them from your fingers."
Rationale: This helps ensure the dice go through the box properly and not onto the floor or somebody's lap. For players who like throwing the dice into the box, I would say: (a) if adding force improves the roll, then it shouldn't be allowed because rolls are supposed to be random; or (b) if adding force does not affect the roll, then there is no need to do it.
Rule 2. What about this rule for doing the initial roll:
"The player to the right of the baffle box goes first. He drops a single die through the box, announces the rolled number (e.g., "three"), picks up his die, and places it on the side of the board to his right. Then the other player drops one die through the box, which ends up on the side of the board to that player's right. If the dice are not equal the lower-numbered player starts the clock and the game proceeds as normal."
Rationale: Each player gets to throw his own die. There is no confusion about which die is whose. It is clear to spectators, including those watching via stream, that this is the initial roll and which player won.
Rule 3. (Playing with a single pair of dice.) This is a general rule, not specific to baffle boxes.
